On October 17, the 5th Guangzhou Sourcing Fair (GSF), jointly organized by Global Sources, Poly Exhibition, and Grandhub, successfully concluded at the Poly World Trade Center Expo, Guangzhou (PWTC Expo). This fair set new records in both scale and attendance, bringing together professional buyers from around the world to witness the vibrant pulse of global trade.

Productive Business Matching

Engaging Business Connections

With a focus on “precise matching,” the organizers not only arranged dedicated business matching sessions for face-to-face meetings between exhibitors and overseas buyers but also customized visiting routes based on specific procurement needs. Six professional buyer delegations from Argentina, Romania, Malaysia, Hong Kong (China), Sabah, and India were guided through the exhibition halls to explore products and discuss collaborations. Many buyers praised GSF as an efficient platform where they could inspect samples, obtain quotes, and quickly identify suitable suppliers.

Mr. Manohar Pednekar, Executive President of the Marathi Chamber of Commerce in India, said: “This is our first time at GSF. We brought 25 chamber members to source hardware and home appliances, and the onsite interactions have been highly productive. ” A procurement representative from Colombia’s Global Connections Group Ltd added: “Through GSF’s business matching sessions, I met around 20 suppliers, and more than half have expressed clear interest in further cooperation. The sourcing experience has been seamless. ” The procurement head of Milton International USA remarked: “I’ve attended GSF several times. The fair is getting better, and this year I’ve already found several promising suppliers whose quality and service are quite impressive. ”

Widespread Recognition of GSF’s Success

Notable Increase in Renewal Intentions

This edition of GSF yielded remarkable outcomes, with many exhibitors securing substantial deals with overseas buyers during the fair. Guangdong Aizao Electrical Appliance Technology Co., Ltd. received eight intent orders worth an estimated over USD 1 million, thanks to its outstanding product quality. Jiangmen Honglong Technology Co., Ltd. clinched a motorcycle procurement order valued at RMB 5 million from a major overseas client during onsite negotiations. Meanwhile, a Hebei foreign trade company obtained intent orders of tool products worth RMB 1.5 million, underscoring the tangible and encouraging results achieved at this fair.

The impressive achievements have fueled a new wave of enthusiasm for participation in the next edition. As of now, more than 70% of booths for the 6th GSF have already been booked, suggesting exhibitors’ strong confidence in and long-term commitment to the GSF platform. Many exhibitors highlighted notable leaps in buyer quality, negotiation efficiency, and order outcomes, far exceeding expectations.

A representative from Anping Heyou Wire Mesh Products Co., Ltd. shared that to seize every business opportunity, the company stationed five sales staff onsite, and each of them received more than a dozen prospective clients on the first day alone. “The precision and quality of buyer leads this fair have far surpassed our expectations,” they said.

Another exhibitor, Anping County Yize Metal Products Co., Ltd., expressed its satisfaction through action – renewing its booth reservations for the next two editions in advance, demonstrating firm confidence in the platform.

Qingdao Smad Electric Appliances Co., Ltd. also highly praised the fair: “Each edition of GSF outperforms the previous one. Besides traditional markets, we’ve seen a sharp increase in buyers from emerging regions such as India, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Overall buyer quality has improved noticeably, with clearer cooperation intentions.”

This edition of GSF also featured a special awards ceremony during the After Party on October 15, where the organizing committee presented awards to outstanding companies that have participated in five consecutive editions of the fair. Bestir, BeHappy, Hebei Chaoda, and Jinteli received this distinction in recognition of their steadfast participation and deep engagement over the years, standing as testaments to both the growth of GSF and the evolution of the industry.

With the successful conclusion of the 5th GSF, the fair’s international influence continues to rise, further solidifying its position as a key matchmaking platform for China’s export sector. Looking ahead, GSF will remain committed to meeting the sourcing needs of overseas buyers, integrating vast supply and demand resources worldwide, and delivering professional export services to more superior Chinese manufacturers.

The 6th GSF is set to take place in April 2026 at the PWTC Expo. Let us reunite next year with an open, mutually beneficial, and win-win vision – connecting Chinese manufacturing with global markets.
